When reading the article about Generation Always On, I sense a lot of fear. One of their main focuses was the negative affect on patients. I think that this is extremely exaggerated. Just because our youth doesn't have to wait three days to have contact with a friend doesn't mean that we are growing less patient. It just means that we have more efficient technologies at our disposal. There are plenty of activities around us that require patients. These things range from fishing, to anything sports related, to even hobbies. Do people really think you do not need patients to pick up a sport. These fine motor skills do not come overnight. Also, hobbies such as knitting, or smoking meat, take extreme patients. I believe people are looking at this generation with a pessimistic attitude. Instead they should think about the future of the human race. This generation has had infinite learning resources at their disposal since a very young age. I believe that this will lead to a decrease in learning curves and also to the extreme advancement of human society. It is all the way you look at it.
